What do you miss?

Like someone said before I might miss being a rebel, and perhaps the ease (no choice of flavors etc.) There have been times through my 2 mo journey that battery life has also presented it's challenges. In there end there are so many things I don't miss I'm never going back.

I miss the convenience of smoking, not so much the smoking itself as nowadays you've always got to get outside first. But the fact that when I needed a smoke I just grabbed one and lit it up, and when I needed a pack I just went to the corner store. Now it's all ordering online, waiting for the mailman, boiling and filling cartos, mixing juice to change the nic level, charging batteries and wiping juice off the table where I fill. In the end I'm happy with my change but you asked

I only miss being forced to go outside for fresh air. And the fact that I didn't have to sit there and wait for a battery to charge, I could just go buy a new pack or bum a smoke off someone. Other than that, I miss absolutely nothing. I'm overjoyed with the change I made. I can finally breathe again after going up a flight of stairs or running through deep snow, and I love smelling like my perfume and not cigarette smoke!

I've passed the hanging out with friends who smoke test and the while drinking test. I think my final test will be the Las Vegas test.

I've been able to pass the being around friends who smoke test, but not the drinking test just yet. Last time, I had 3 cigarettes. I'm sure New Years will be tough, but I have confidence I can do it. Good luck with the vegas test, haha

I smoked Nicotine free cigs for about 6 months & quit, there was no vaping when I quit on 2006-01-06.

I first tried quitting with Zyban, which worked while I took the Zyban pills, but went back to smoking right after I stopped the pills.

I've only been analog free for a few days, but so far I don't miss anything about it.

Great thread... and even better answers. I'm going to have to say that the smell of an analog still makes my knees buckle from time to time...

... then I smell those guys when they come back inside and remember why I made the switch.

+1 on that. I think the black flies and Mosquitos actually like the vapor. I know it didn't do a damned thing to stop them when I was camping this summer.

Put a little listerine and water in a spray bottle and spray it around a little. Not sure that it kills them, but does seem to help keep them away. Kill mosquitoes with Listerine - snopes.com

Ps. If you go to that link, scroll down and look at - Brad from Georgia-. I got a kick out of it because I'm a mosquitoes magnet myself.

There is absolutely nothing I miss when it comes to when I was a cigarette smoker. I gave 26 years to cigs, The time came we needed to divorce. Glad that's over with. I miss nothing !!

I miss being done witht he analog and flicking it aside. Just burning all the way down and knowing its done and I'm done... I have a tendency to never stop vaping!

Honestly? I miss the smell. I've always liked the smell of cigarette smoke ever since I was a kid. No idea why, I've just always found it rather pleasant, like a particular kind of burning wood -- which I suppose it is in a way.

Yea... i miss the smell too. Most non smokers hate the smell but i've been a smoker for 13 years and i quite enjoyed the smell of my ciggs.
