There is also triacetin

Triacetin is a flavor carrier solvent (base), like PG and VG found in most cola fizzy flavorings. This particular one tends to damage
plastic atomizer tanks. If a DIY flavor carries a warning about plastic tanks, that probably means it
contains triacetin. I don’t believe anyone uses triacetin to replace PG and VG, only as an added
flavor note. But adding it in combination with other flavors such as lets say strawberry or grape will make it fizzy.
