Using no cartidge to clear atomizer?

My supplier told me that it's a good idea to use the e-cig with an empty cartridge or no cartridge at all once a day to clear out the atomizer, when I do this I still get a lot of vapour till it dries up, then I go back to using a full cartridge.
Does anyone else do this?

if im changing flavours then i might do it. 1st i drain the atomiser by placing the wick against a paper towel and then blow into the battery end of the atomiser. keep repeating until you see no more juice on the paper. then reconnect to the battery and put an empty cart on. finally keep taking drags until no more vapour is produced.

i do it too when i change flavors.
but be careful, a dry atomizer may burn it's heater element.

I never use only one atomizer at a time, I always keep switching between two throughout the day, that way the atomizer never gets a chance to get too hot and burn itself out. I'm not sure if this will extend the lifespan of the little critters but it can't hurt.

I have some spares so I dedicate an atomizer to each flavour.

I have just taken my spare 901 TW platinum att out of it's bag to vape this Cash Cola

When dripping I usually avoid vaping until there is no vapour. I just wait for the taste to change slightly and vapour reduces.

I would never smoke without a cart unless you've dripped some liquid into the atomizer. Not only are you going to burn the fiber in the atomizer when it starts drying up, but when you do, you're going to be puffing mysterious chemical smoke.
