Good Evening,

I am new to using this vaporizer system. I got a Kangertech topbox mini and it runs at 0.59 ohms.

I didn't want any flavorings in my nicotine and want just a pure vapor to reduce the number of chemicals. I purchased a 16 mg nicotine from Nude Nicotine. Can I just use this liquid they sent me directly in my vaporizer? Or do I need to dilute it? Thank you!

If you notice yourself getting nic. sick (light headache, nausea, dizzy etc.) there are a number of things you can do.
Vape less/take more breaks
Turn down the power setting
Dilute the 18mg to a lower level.
(to do this you need PG usp or VG usp, it's cheap.)
Enjoy! Cheers.

You can vape unflavored Nicotine liquid.

I'm not sure it's helpful to talk of "resistance" & "sub-ohm" and "0.59ohms"...

The point is 16mg or 18mg liquid is on the strong side and was the normal strength a few years ago with early technology hardware.

Your Kanger box can adjust the power at which you vape & the volume of vapor. That's what's so good about the system of variable volts/watts.

If you vape 18mg liquid at 20, 30 or 40 watts, you could find it too strong to vape (likely) and could easily over-do the Nicotine (very likely, almost guaranteed).
However, you could vape the same atomizer at 10 watts and find it satisfies you.

Sub-ohm means nothing more of less. Having a 0.59ohm atomizer means nothing unless you can't regulate the power/battery then it means everything. It's the watts (power) you vape at that is going to control the amount of vapor.

Too much vapor using 16mg/18mg liquid will leave you potentially feeling quite strange/bad/headache.

Personally, I would advise you to dilute it unless your system (the combination of the box mod and atomizer) will allow you to turn the power right down, and it still function OK, while you find your feet.
It should work at around 15w but you might need to limit the airflow.

Thanks everyone! This information has been very helpful!

Hi @Joella , and welcome to the ECF forum!

I'm really intrigued by your desire to vape unflavored. It is very unusual for a beginner, but very prudent since we don't really KNOW what long term vaping of the flavorings with their various chemicals is going to do.

May I ask if you are in the health care field, or just very health conscious? I think what you are doing could prove someday to have been wise. :) I just love some of the flavors, and I BELIEVE they are considerably less harmful than the previous habit, but I don't know that to be fact.

Oh, and I agree with the posters that have suggested you dilute that by 1/2 to 9mg/ml for a .6ohm device. Pretty easy to just vape a little more if you need it, and dilute it further if 9 proves more than you would like.

It's common for people, including myself, who do Mouth to Lung vaping at lower power (8 -10W for example) to vape 18, 24, even higher nic, 2 - 3 ml a day. Most subohmers vape a lot more juice since they vape at lower nic strength. So power/coil resistance is a factor and you pretty much described why in your correct explanation of why higher watts is not good at 18 mg nic. I vape 18-24 mg, triton mini, nautilus 1.8 ohm coils, MTL. I do the same in my RTAs over 1 ohm. Njoy dailys are low vapor, 45 mg nic. Juul pods are 45 mg nic salts juice. Bottom line, is what is your daily nic intake, how much vapor, etc.
