Skepis, I see your here in PR. I have constant problems with USPS (Cupey post office is particularly bad). One of the things that I have learned after several complaints is that all mail coming into the island goes through the Cataño sorting facility. This facility is notoriously bad. I spoke to a postal supervisor recently who was expecting an iPad in the mail--it got lost in the Cataño facility until she personally went there to find it! Obviously, us average Joes can't do that.

I would begin by filing a complaint on USPS.com. I would then go to your post office and demand to speak with a supervisor.

Best of luck!

Thank you for your reply.. I will definitely try that.

Maybe I spoke to soon! Like I said, I've had ongoing problems with USPS service. Just when I had given up any hope, a shocker this morning. . .

I (obsessively) track everything, mainly because I get very excited to receive my vapemail. I did lots of shopping during the sales of the last few days, so I woke up this morning and started entering tracking numbers. The very last purchase that I made on Monday was from GotVapes, and they packed it up and had it shipped by Monday night. It was due for delivery on 12/16 (Friday). I can't even tell you how shocked I was to find out that my package had not only arrived in Puerto Rico, but it's been processed through and departed the Cataño facility already. Next stop will be my post office, so it's actually possible that I will receive it today! That would truly be a change! I've become accustomed to receiving things 2-3 days after the so-called scheduled delivery date--two days early is miraculous.

i have been getting vape mail for two months and i live in an apt. one time it said it was out for delivery. i stalked the mail man and he never showed up at my place. tracking said address was not found and could not be delivered. really? ...? it is an apt in a big complex. how could you not find the address. The next day it showed up. I think my mail guy was running behind and decided to call it a day and not deliver mail to my complex. i was so freaking mad.

Do a bit of reading around. The Postal Service is doing fine, except for a pesky bill passed by Congress a few years back that requires them to fund in advance their pension obligations for 20 years. When you've got to pay 20 years of retirement benefits up front, money suddenly gets scarce. That's an artificial crisis, just like the social security shortages.

As for my personal experience with USPS, I've never had an issue. My packages arrive on time and in good condition.

I've watched UPS drivers kick boxes around in their truck, trying to find the right box to grab. I once watched one kick an HD TV off the back of the truck...

I'll take my chances with USPS.

75 years not 20. It has been admitted that it's an attempt to privatize the USPS because the don't like the idea that the government can do anything right and the post office is the most glaring proof they are wrong.
