So, the USPS has "misrouted" both of my two most recent V4L orders, adding time between my order and when the precious arrives at my home.
Not V4Ls fault, this one is definitely on the postmaster general.

That said, kudos to the V4L team for shipping both orders within 90 minutes of when I placed them.

Sorry to hear that. I've had them take a while with packages before, but in the end they do show up in my mailbox.

I deal with all of the mail for a small law firm, and you'd not believe the things I've seen. The best yet, was having them deliver a box of documents that had been shipped to our post office, placed in a locker, and forgotten about. We received the documents four years (yes, years) after they had been mailed. They only found the box because they were remodeling the post office and someone had to empty all of the post office box lockers. Talk about snail mail.

Hopefully you will get your packages soon.

Heh, I emailed a friend of my parents who I call my uncle who works for the post office and gave him a hard time about it. He called the distribution center where things went wrong and gave the supervisor a piece of his mind for me. He's very concerned about public perception of the USPS and gets rabid about stuff like this.

I hear ya hon.....it never ceases to amaze me that a package from New York to Ohio takes longer than from Texas to Ohio....and that it never comes straight here.....1 ended up going to Texas just to come back here and the other went through Kentucky back to here.....New York to Ohio should only take 1 or 2 days....not 4 or 5! USPS drives me batty! Knock on wood, I have yet to have them screw up coming from IL.....but it does seem to take the IL PO a while sometimes to release the package....Hope you get your goodies soon and unscathed.....

I understand your pain with usps. I have to start by saying they have been pretty good about not re-routing my deliveries. My v4l order usually take 4 days to get to me. Here is a great USPS story, its Saturday and I have checked my usps tracking and my v4l package is out for delivery, I am stocking the mail man, he is later than normal. I have to go to the grocery store but did not want to miss him, I leave anyways knowing my package will show up while I am gone. I come back from the grocery store, check my mail (shared mail box with 7 other boxes) and I cannot open my box, the package was stuffed in my box so tight it was up against the lock mechanism and would not open. I call the post office to explain to them what has happend, of corse they dont answer, so I drive down to the post office, the whole drive looking for my mail man. I get there and explain that I am am addick and need my nicotine. She explains they have no way of contacting the mail man to come back and open my box she says go buy a pack of smokes, I say I will break the mail box to get into it if I have to, she says you will pay for it, and that its a crime, I explain that its a crime that I cant get into my mail box. She says she will schedule someone to come out and fix my box on Monday. I say no need, its not broken, just that my very important package is pushed up against the lock. So I tell her thats for not helping me and that I will take the mail box apart myself. So here I am Saturday afternoon taking mine and all my neibors mail box apart, as I am doing this, of corse my neibors are wondering what I am doing and are coming to get there mail. Once I explained it to them (neibors) they were understanding, and helpfull. Long story, happy ending I got my fix. Good luck with yours

Several years ago, a USPS driver put the pedal to the metal and plowed into our garage (the door was closed). He did nearly $3000 worth of damage and his truck would have ended up in our house if there hadn't been a lawn tractor, big snow blower and a lot of other stuff to stop him. I'm just glad I was home at the time because he was just getting ready to drive away when I went out to see what the *^*& was going on.

I live in a house that was converted into three studio apartments. I have my apartment number listed on my mailbox and I live in the front apartment, but sometimes my packages find their way to the guy who has the apartment at the back. If you didn't know the place was there, you wouldn't even KNOW there was a third apartment.

I think I get a lazy substitute delivery man who is blind or stupid or both. I think we can guess which way I'm leaning.
