I forgot what the lady told me but call usps and ask what's up with my tracking...they will explain it for you...it made sense to me but that escaped my brain what she exactly told me.

They told me that tracking scanning is a curiosity, and only scans they HAVE to make is acceptance and delivered.

Leatherneck sorry that seems to be the main thing end of week delivery.

Yah, that seems about right. The package that departed Toledo on the 6th hasn't been seen since. It might just show up at my door today all unannounced.

And monkeys might fly out of my .....

Only Express Mail has actual tracking. Sometimes packages sent using any other class of mail will only show electronic notification and delivery with nothing in between. If a package seems unreasonably late in arriving call your local post office. If it isn't there they have a more detailed internal tracking system than what we see for online tracking.

You are paying for Delivery Confirmation rather than tracking. The USPS provides no promise of end-to-end tracking for that service.

If you look the post office, they revamped what they called this , it is now a method of tracking your package with a scannable tracking number.End to end tracking

These things happen with them. "Technically" USPS doesn't have true tracking unless it's express mail, otherwise they consider it delivery confirmation. Sometimes you get the added benefit of seeing where it is along the way, sometimes not so much. I've had packages drop out of sight completely after leaving the sending facility and then suddenly appear on my doorstep three days later. I wouldn't start worrying until it's been out of sight for 5 days from the date it was mailed.

lol, stormy! i had a priority package fall off the radar for 18 days - tulsa, ok to virginia!

ok heck nahs, that is crappy. I finally got mine and it looked like it was dragged through the mud.Seriously

One more last horror story, I ordered a desktop computer and it shipped quick...like next day, I went to the door and signed for it...whipped my knife out to open it and DEFINITELY NOT A COMPUTER...box full of adult stuff. What happened is someone in USPS stole my package and in return made a new shipping label and put it on a box that weighed the same.

Was resolved by the seller and USPS investigated but couldn't find the individuals responsible, I had insurance (saved my sponge).

have you called?

i sure did! those were german sausages i wanted more than any vape mail :D

there's really nothing much usps can do - tracking for priority or delivery confirmation is a courtesy on their part but not a responsibility. and there is no recourse if a priority package fails to show up in a timely manner!

needless to say, after 18 days in transit the sausages were no longer edible ;)
