I usually have my package for a day before it gets updated in their system keep in mind though im only 17 miles away from their warehouse

Yea, I have 3 orders I am waiting on and have been since the 12th. They all look like that one, all my packages are scattered all over the country.

That tracking number only recently "fell out" of their system. I'm so glad I snipped it before that happened.

If anyone ever comes up with one that tops it, I'll quietly retire mine.

USPS is not the way to go for tracking.. As an ebay powerseller for over 10 years, I can tell you that USPS is only used because of the somewhat decent prices. UPS ground has way better tracking, but is more expensive.

For Click & Ship via USPS, they do not scan in the packages they pick up from any office. They just load them into the truck and take them to the main post office in the area for sorting. Sometimes, at the sorting it gets scanned in. If you are lucky it gets scanned again when it reaches the destinations local Post office which is rare from what I know. They usually scan it when it is already delivered.

UPS scans it every move it makes... I guess multiple shipping options are the way to go if there are people who dont mind paying a little extra to know where the package is...

yep I'm a ebay powerseller and Top Rated Seller also, and usps isn't really tracking. It's 'delivery confirmation'. It's used by the 'seller' to make sure a delivery was delivered.

True tracking would be ups or fedex.
