My button on my my 3 month old v max keeps sticking on, it doesnt click and feels like its not moving. If I unscrew the bottom cap it loosens up and works. When I take the batteries out it looks and feels as if works fine, even when I have the end cap loose it will fire just sitting on the table all by itself. Any help? Thanks!

Sounds like your batteries of choice are too long and are putting the circuitry and button assembly in a bind once the bottom cap is installed. Either switch to a slightly shorter battery or add a fat o-ring to the bottom cap on the threads so you can snug it up without screwing it in all the way. This will relieve some of that spring pressure and still leave you a 'tight' cap.
My buddy had the same problem and had to send it to China for warranty and waited about 2 weeks for it to return... I do believe he told me that he basically had to pay the amount of almost a new one to have it replaced but not 100% sure of the cost
