I recieved mine about 10 days ago and i thought the same thing,the airhole is too high,i finally pulled it out of the packaging about 3 days ago to inspect it closer.The dual coil it came with is 1mm and looks like they split the 1mm wicks and used it for each coil so i replaced it with a 3mm double looped for each coil that came out to a 1.7 ohm dual coil.I left a little slack between the coil going into the holes of the post so i could lift the
coils to get closer to the airhole height and i have to say,except for the very airry draw(great for lung hits)it is working pretty good.I look at it this way,i only paid $6 for a nice drip tip,because even though i fixed the height problem with the airhole i will only use this for out and about.All in all it performs o.k. for the price.
