In light of all I have read about faulty batteries exploding on ppl vaping.

I understand these Tenergy batteries are super safe compared to any *CR2 battery.
* - the only batteries i'm aware of that have exploded -

But I have also read that having a 'Non-Sealed' battery chamber will allow the faulty battery or batteries to harmlessly vent out of the chamber, instead of actually 'exploding'.

Steve is the battery chamber air tight, and if so, can I drill mini holes for safety precautions w/o physically voiding my Life Time Warranty?

EDIT: I should also mention, I'm not expecting anything disastrous to actually happen.
- I'm only concerned bout the welfare of those around me as well as my own. -

BTW - Someone signed my 'Receipt' that was shipped inside w/ my new V2.
I'm just really curious who exactly is from NJ now. lol >_>
Used to live there for a few years myself. :)

Hey AKson- that would be me :) *PM me about your post when you get a chance!*

As for the venting, the switch is not airtight. Steve and I tried to blow up a battery on the Protege, and it vented through the switch. There was some talk about drilling a hole in the V2, but I believe Steve said it was unnecessary. He can jump in correct me on that though!

o.k. I'ma just add this here sinse the thread title is fitting....

Being a total newb & having only used a 510 SPADE Mod...

I'm guessing the batteries for the V2 go in 'positive' side way?

For the SPADE you can actually spin the batteries to enter either way. ><
Depending on if you want the LED to light up or not.

So since turning the LED on for the SPADE requires the batteries be
put in 'positive' side 1st, that is my guess, but I hate going on guesses.
