I have a 2.5 mini and decided I wanted a 2.0 without the provari mini engraved in it for a cleaner look.
I got one off the classifieds here and got it all polished up and added red to make it unique. The provari with a kayfun is a great set up.
I polished the kayfun to match.
Next to is is another one I put together the way I like. Nemesis with hybrid adapter and nano set for kayfun. I brushed it all to matched and shortened a drip tip to go with it.
These are both in 18350 mode. Amazing how short you can make the nemesis. I wish the electronics in the provari were smaller to make the mini more mini...

that looks fantastic! Could you possibly polish a 2.5 full size in just the mill lines? Ie polish just the crop circles?

It would be difficult to polish just in the recessed areas.
This is my other mini. Section between the groves polished.
Sorry for the poor phone photos.
I should get out my real camera and take some good shots.

That looks really cool!! Did you paint the mini red, then polish off to leave the teardrops red?? Very nice!!

That looks great too. I figured it would be incredibly difficult to do just the recessed areas. The raised area could be done without too much problem I believe, but I want the clean classy all black, with just the mill lines popping :) they Get lost in the black.

I have also thought about seeing if a gun smith could cerkote just the recessed areas in a contrasting color. Similar to what your mini looks like, just black with contrasting blue.

I like this idea... except in reverse for one of mine. I really don't like the slippery feel of my Polished full size at all. It might be worth roughing it up to a brushed finish where the crop circles are, and maybe also the top and bottom caps. Nothing ventured nothing gained. If it doesn't work out I can always have the whole thing done in power coat or Cerakote. Hmmmm.
