Newbie here that just picked up a V2 Pro. I found the Sahara 1.8 harsh on the throat (I realize the throat hit takes some getting used to) and made my chest tight. Looked up the analysis for the batch and it was 77% PG. Had their Platinum Menthol which tested at 60% PG. Much smoother, less harsh but still some mild throat irritation and chest tightness but less so than the 77% PG Sahara. (I had asthma as a child but have pretty much grown out of it.) I suspect I might be mildly allergic to the PG in some way.

Thinking about trying something that is 70-80% VG. I'm wondering on the stock V2 Pro, how high of a VG concentration will work okay in it? I know there own liquid is targeted at 60 PG / 40 VG.

I doubt high VG will work on such a poor product. Hype over substance. Profit over efficacy.

The difference between 60% PG and 77% PG is marginal. The throat hit is more likely to be down to the flavorings.

I was mildly sensitive to PG, it took about a year to get fully comfortable with vaping. Now I vape any ratio and actually don't enjoy high VG... it's sickly and like vaping warm air rather than something of substance.

I suggest you buy a VG 'friendly' product... and nothing from one of these brands of course. £59 "reduced" from £80.... that is... well...

(Sorry about that)

I have to admit that I am unfamiliar with the V2Pro, so I Googled it to see if I can help you.

I have to agree with Djsvapour. This is old school technology hyped up to look like new school technology. And very expensive at that...

It appears that the "cartridge" is an old school top-coil clearomizer which is using silica strings for wicks, much like the old iClear 30 clearomizers used. These are no longer being made or sold because it is considered old technology. Silica is subpar to other wicking materials because it doesn't wick as fast as cotton, and isn't a great flavor carrier.

I doubt that this "tank" will be able to wick a higher Vg ratio than a 60Pg/40Vg. Vg is much thicker than Pg, and the silica will probably not wick the thicker e-liquid and you'll likely get "dry" or "burnt" hits.

Sorry to inform you of the above. You fell for some slick advertising.
