V3 nova(ViVi nova) issue with taste its disgusting

Hi folks just got my V3 vapors nova in which is a vivi nova type tank. I have so far done these things to improve/trouble shoot the issue.

here is the battery im vaping on:
Ego 1100mah lcd at 3.7v-4v not 100% sure. also im using the 2.4 ohm head that was pre installed since i thought it should be ok on a lower v batt

- removed plastic rubber top that is placed over the wicks and coil to seal the top cap and the air vent. I then went ahead and trimmed that plastic tube to a shorter length as to not apply as much pressure to the wicks cutting off the wicking. well it didn't work because there was no burning wick issue or any type of burning issue on the inside of the coil and wick head.

- next step was to remove all parts and re-clean and re-dry, well that didn't work.

- i shook the bottle before I went to fill the tank because of hear some times flavors can settle.

- so far ive near tiped the tank upside down to try n get some flavor. nope not working. i get lots of vapor and the vapor is warm so I know the atty is getting hot but i cant figure out why the juice taste like crap. has any one else had a bad experience with vapoRUS juice?

This is why I still use Smoktec dual coil cartos.

There's nothing to fiddle with. I have to soak it down every hour or two.

I haven't had experience with vaporus juice, but some juices have to steep a little before tasting right.

tdotgong, you may have a knockoff Vivi Nova. The package has to say "VISION Vivi Nova" on the sides. If it doesn't, then it's a knockoff.

I've had some knockoffs: every one failed for one reason or another: leaking, failing to fire, instant burnout, or bad and/or no flavor. And, in my experience, genuine Vision Vivi Nova heads won't work on knockoffs: the threads are usually incompatible.

But every genuine Vision Vivi Nova (both regular size and mini) has performed flawlessly with a minimum of futzing (just disassembling and cleaning every 50 ml. or so).

Just because it's a Vivi Nova type doesn't mean it'll perform like a genuine Vision Vivi Nova. It's kind of like zombies: they look something like people, but they sure don't behave like them.

also about the knock off issue, yea now that you said that and by looking at it, the tank was all scratched when it arrived it looked like it had been pre used. there was a weird amount of primer fluid in the tube.

nic degrades when it is exposed to air (like when they make your juice. i do not know the company you dealt with but many make just about every strength and pg/vg ratio you could want and have no choice but to make it fresh, if they try to make all of them for stock you get too much waste.
most of us prefer fresh juice even if it means waiting a few days.

if you dont like the idea of waiting for fresh juice to mature buy dekang or another china brand. im sure it sat in a box for weeks before they send it.

yea im just going to get a VV mod and stick with the smoktec cartos, this new stuff is to fiddly. as for the juice issue i have 3 bottle of candian premium e juice that is like 1 month old, ill try em and report back.

cartos are evil, diy juice and save wads o' cash, accept vivi's for their juice-robbing abilities and enjoy...this is my advice

you don't have steep the juice, but it can improve the flavor.

Picked up a couple knockoff Vivi Nova's a few weekes ago,- forgot to look for the "Vision" name plate. They looked the same and even had the two extra heads in the box, box looked the same also and had the same cut outs used for the tank and heads. But the main thing that I liked about the fakes is that the center post on them was spring loaded, no more trying to pull up the center post to make contack. I can only hope that more attachments start using a spring for the center post. No markings or other printing as to who make the vivi nova's. Also noticed the Lambo4.0 that I just got also had a spring loaded center post. The discription on both said nonthing about the spring post.

well switched out the juice and it is much better but still kinda ehhh. also this juice is like 4 months old not 1 haha and it taste pretty good no real nastiness to it at all. also sorry if I came off as a .... just was upset, because from my older vaping experience it was never this complicated.

EDIT:

can any one drop any personal knowledge on the Vapeonly BCC i want to try it due to the bottom coil. but not 100% sure if it is worth the purchase.

I do love my carto/tanks... but then, i still like my VISION Vivi Novas too

Um ya I have 2 genuine vivi's I bought from an authorized dealer (aquavapor) and they both thoroughly enjoy sucking every ounce o' flavor outta every juice I feed em...jus sayin The mini 2.5 is a juice fiend the likes of which haven't been seen since I started vaping and was constantly pouring juice all over my lap tryin to get my 306 to eat it successfully...

I would suggest replacing the wick. I've never liked anything that came stock. Most of the time it taste like I'm burning plastic. I replace every atty I got with a cotton wick from cotton balls. Just prime them before putting it back together with a few drops to prevent dry hits, fill up and go.

im starting to very much dislike my vivi nova mini, i get occasional burnt tastes(just a bit too often) im ready for some carto tanks for sure
