v3 or v3.1?

i just got a prodigy v3 off of the classifieds a few days ago. then i checked out the puresmoker website and it says prodigy v3.1...so i looked at the difference. and its very minor.

Prodigy V3.1 & ICON V1.1 Upgrade Kit

2 brass screws and a aluminum washer that makes the screws flush and another thin washer.
I was gonna order it..but then again do i need it? what does it do?

I upgraded. It was only $7. I find that the new brass flathead screw gives a bigger electrical contact area, there's less chance of putting any dent in the bottom of your battery or batteries and the press feels more solid now since there is less wiggle room for any side to side motion. That said, it certainly isn't necessary.

I upgraded mine too and feel it was well worth the 7 bucks. I agree with what CardinalWinds said. Also, the new design reportedly requires very little maintenance and no Noalox. I'm testing that theory out now, but it's too soon to tell. I'm on day 3 of very heavy use and haven't needed Noalox yet.
