V3 problem. Accidental activation

I just got the v3 and it worked great yesterday then today I can screw the bottom all the way it or it turns on and stays on. I have to unscrew the bottom a few turns. I don't have the soft spring it's either the medium or hard and I didn't mess with it before this happened. I tried stretching it a bit since it started happening but still doing the same thing. What's wrong? Thanks

this might help... here
maybe the contact post in the adapter is sitting deeper in the batt chamber-- do you tighten your atty a lot? over-tighten?
It may have moved resulting in very little throw in the switch. If you can push the post back into the adapter that may have been it.

Has contact bolt come loose if not try removing a washer to give switch a longer throw, perhaps your battery is a tad longer than normal
