I have a few questions about Vapor 4 Life's cartomizers.

It has come time for me to clean my used cartos for the first time and I have watched several videos demonstrating the process. I've removed the hard plastic/soft rubber caps and (from all the vids I've watched) there is supposed to be a silicone O ring inside that must be removed. None of my carts have this O ring. I have both regular and premium cartos. Has V4L deemed the O ring obsolete and therefore no longer deems it necessary to be installed it their cartos? Or have I just received some cartos missing the ring? Finally, will these carts leak after I refill them?

Thanks for any replies.

On my NON premo carts, I have had 2 with no o-rigs also.
Here's the deal though, when I refill my NON premo carto's I NEVER put the O-rings back in, instead I just use a soft top off of a Premo Carto. The thickness of the soft cap is exactly the same as the O-ring and the tiny hard cap together.

I have no problems when I do this, it works pretty well, but I am sure if it is not a good thing to do someone will come along and let us know:)

Can't imagine the function of that O-ring is to do much more than keep juice out of your mouth, perhaps provide some thermal protection so the carto doesn't get too hot too fast, and / or provide a little stability to the carto as it does heat up. If none of those things is an issue for you - and they haven't been for me - I can't see how not using it would create any other kind of a problem. I've had surgeries on both hands in the last 3 weeks, so my dexterity has been about nil. I quit trying to put the O-rings back in to save myself the frustration of spending 30 minutes refilling one carto. Haven't experienced any negative effects that I'm aware of.
