I'm always reading on here people who post an order and then 5 minutes later a new discount or item goes on the shelves (and they are broke till pay day). I'm wondering, how many of you would like a Vapor4Life store card (not an actual Visa, only can be used at V4L). Perhaps we could have a point system. Each order counting as 1-5 points based on the amount you order. When you get say, 50 points, you get a free box of cartomizers! Vapor4Life could make serious money off this doing a sort of 'pay as you go', adding maybe interest for each month. Or we can do what American Express does, you have to pay it all at the end of the month (each and every month)

What does everyone think of this? Is this something you may all be interested in? V4L, is it possible? :p

Huh? I don't get it.

A Vapor4Life credit card, which you can only use on there website. If you've ever had a credit card before, they have point systems where you can get airline miles, disney trips, ect. You can pay monthly instead of paying it all at once. Or, they can set it so you have to pay at the end of the month, each and every month.

It would basically offer incentives to people who frequently order, and V4L could make money off it as well. Everybody wins.

Oh.. kinda like a gift card, but pay after instead of pay before.. It'd be great for customers that have established themselves as recurring, but I can see potential for abuse by people just trying it out...

Sorry I seem jaded about the idea, I have to deal with fraud/scams all the time.

Well like any credit card you have to apply using you S.S number and other information, even if it's just a store card. So people with poor credit won't be able to get one. And if you don't pay, your credit score is screwed for life. There are other consequences as well.

I would never ever give my SS # to anyone, unless it's with an established bank.

This is a REALLY bad idea.

It sounds like those pay day loans, if people can't afford to get want they want, they should not get it.

Also would V4L then charge interest?
Nope.

I understand where your coming from, it is smart in today's society not to throw your SS number out to just anyone, but considering we trust this company with our address, phone number, and credit card information... your identity can still get stolen with some additional efforts, if one were so inclined. SS numbers are a little different though, your right, much more damage can be done dispensing it. More people should be as cautious.

It's just an idea, and I appreciate your honest opinion, that's what I'm looking for, opinions because I wasn't sure of it myself.

And, V4L wouldn't have to charge interest, they would only do so if it was a month to month basis thing. But other companies make it so you have to pay at the end of EACH month. I think the point system would be helpful to people who frequently order, such as myself.:)

I think that's a great idea. I know I could use it. But I think there should be a limit per month on how much you can put on credit, such as $50 or $75. That way if someone goes nutz and buys tons of stuff they will be able to pay it at the end of the month.

I for one would love to do that but my credit is ruined so I wouldn't be able to sign up. Maybe it wouldn't be based on good credit but a certain amount of previous purchases to show you pay for V4L products on a regular basis.

I've always been self employed.

:D

Yep, it would drive the cost up.
They would to hire an extra hand just to deal with the extra work.

Well as they keep growing, maybe one day it won't be a hassle. We can't keep using that excuse, "the guys can't handle it" Cause one day they will be so huge that they will be able to handle ANYTHING. I mean look at what they handle currently. Dealing with customs, there amazing warrantee on their products, keeping up with the forum and customer service issues/questions, contests, discounts, website updates, email newsletters, the comments section, China. And the stock room. I gotta think thats a tough job...Color battery, size battery, cartomizer mg, cartomizer type, juice size, PCC & case colors.

Amazon offers cards that when you use them they offer special shipping/discount deals. I just think it would open up new opportunities.

when people see the word credit card they are either tempted to get one or completly suspicous of the intentions, but STORE cards are different. It actually can be a good way to establish credit. In today's society, everyone is so weery of credit cards, especially when some companies make it a goal to rip people off and tack up interest rates we can't afford

But for some reason I can't ever imagine a reputable company such as V4L ripping us off or taking advantage of us. They give us every opportunity to save money and live healthier lives. I think we can trust them!

Or, you could make it like a membership program almost. The customer decides what day the money is charged to their card, each month. Make as many purchases as you want (up to a certain amount depending on your previous purchases and payment history), and a "tab" is created. Then on the chosen day, V4L charges your card the full amount. Of course, there would have to be a history of successful payment issued to V4L, and other ways for the company to ensure that they are set. It would just make the payment process easier, instead of having multiple charges.

Well it's not really a question of trust of V4L... At least not for me. I'm a bit worried though that if V4L goes too far into discounts & specials, they'll put themselves out of business.. If that happens, where would I ever find anything like what I have now?!

Or that the extra expense gets passed along to others not in the club. I see that kind of thing more and more these days and find myself looking for good product and service at a reasonable price. No gimmicks. No fuss. But maybe that's just me, Kimmy.
