V4l ego passthrough

Does anyone know if v4l is going to offer their ego batteries in a passthrough? Recently bought the Ego 2 kit and realized there is no passthrough. I read that it was taken off as a precaution but want a ego that is kr808 thread to use as a passthrough. If someone knows where I could find one, please pm me. Or if anyone knows if v4l still has any with the passthrough that just aren't offered through the website?

I really really like these egos.

V4L no longer offers the units, but you may be able to find someone who owns some to privately trade/sell you, I would post a "want" in the classifieds (both here and on the forum on V4L's site).

to my knowledge this is permanent; there are no known plans to bring back a model later. but, I'm not an employee so who knows!
