It seems that all of my V4L manual batteries meet the same fate, at some point the button just stops working. It will work if I push it super duper hard and cause a permanent indention in my finger (which is highly frustrating). There was one battery I got that did this after about a week. A good waste of $15 + shipping.

Is there any fix for this?

Does everybody's V4L manual battery do this? Am I just unfortunate? Am I pressing the button too hard?

They will replace it for sure, but maybe you are pressing to hard and causing damage to it.My manuals always last a long time.If you request a new one try being more gentle with it.I could be wrong but it sounds like your pressing the switch into the batt to far.Just contact customer service or open a ticket on the site. They are great about fixing problems.

Thank you everybody for the responses. I like vaping but have only tried V4L, kinda feel like a n00b, but can I get suggestions for decent alternatives?

For instance, I did the mod where you remove the filler/batting from the cart, and just drip. I like the taste waaay better than using it normally. I'm sure there's plenty to read on this forum regarding brands and different types. Guess I'll start reading up :)

You can use a 901 atty on your V4L manuals.I do it sometimes to test juices before filling a carto.

You dripped a carto? Did you get juice on the end of the battery? If so, you could be the one destroying the switches if enough juice gets in there. KR8 manuals are harder to damage with juice leaks but there is still a hole in the end of the battery.

If you want to drip get a DSE901 standard resistance atomizer and drip tip - at least any overflows will be more likely to come out the side of the atty where its air hole is.
