A few (5) more questions to those who have had positive experiences with V4L products...

1. Does the battery on the bypass come off the cord to use as a regular e-cig battery or is it permanently affixed to the cord? (I can't tell from the picture)

2. Anyone get the king 2 battery starter kit and/or the travel kit? Which one of two is a better bang for the buck?

3. What hardware parts and how often need replacement from wear?

4. Finally, are the cartos hard to refill vs the carts and approx how many do you stock to easily work with them?

(5) As an aside, have you gone back to analogs within the first month or two with V4L and if so, why? Just curious about if you're using them to cut back or as a replacement, entirely.

I heard they are the best. Just needing a few details on specifics and some idea about working with the various starter kits, etc.

Thanks, in advance.

If your talking about the PT, no. It's all in 1 pc.
2. Anyone get the king 2 battery starter kit and/or the travel kit? Which one of two is a better bang for the buck? I bought the UU kit, felt it was the best bang for the buck. With 20% off, you can't go wrong.

3. What hardware parts and how often need replacement from wear?
Just the battery, charger, cartos, and juice. They last a long time unless defective or you drop them.
4. Finally, are the cartos hard to refill vs the carts and approx how many do you stock to easily work with them?
I generally only refill once, very easy, but I feel they don't taste as good as new. I have to many stocked right now so tough question.

(5) As an aside, have you gone back to analogs within the first month or two with V4L and if so, why? Just curious about if you're using them to cut back or as a replacement, entirely. I quit the day I started vaping, will be a year Aug. 4th.

Good luck, you will love the VK. The new wowboy is great.

Permanently attached & there is no battery in it.

2. Anyone get the king 2 battery starter kit and/or the travel kit? Which one of two is a better bang for the buck?

I think the ultimate kits are your best bet.

3. What hardware parts and how often need replacement from wear?

batteries tend to last about 3 months for me, before they just don't hold enough of a charge anymore. Depends on your use level.

4. Finally, are the cartos hard to refill vs the carts and approx how many do you stock to easily work with them?

They are very easy to refill. You will have to find your method of rotation. I usually keep about 10 filled with a good assortment of flavors.

I haven't had an analog since I got my kit. So I used my VK to quit, although I wasn't sure when I started. Just fell in love with vaping & never looked back.

Have fun and don't fret about buying the ultimate kit. If you don't buy all that stuff now, you'll want it later and pay more.:D

1. Does the battery on the bypass come off the cord to use as a regular e-cig battery or is it permanently affixed to the cord? (I can't tell from the picture)

The passthru doesn't have a battery. It's just a hollow tube that looks like a battery. There are no removable parts.

2. Anyone get the king 2 battery starter kit and/or the travel kit? Which one of two is a better bang for the buck?

Most of the kits come with 2 batteries and you can't go wrong with any of them. By "travel kit", I assume you mean the PCC kit. That is a good, inexpensive way to try it out to see if you like it. Just make sure you're ordering from Vapor4Life-Because it's your life - E-Cigarettes/Smoking Alternatives and not one of the other sites that are trying to capitalize on the "Vapor King" name.

3. What hardware parts and how often need replacement from wear?

That varies too widely from person-to-person for anyone to give you a reasonable answer. In my personal experience, everything lasts a good, long time.

4. Finally, are the cartos hard to refill vs the carts and approx how many do you stock to easily work with them?

Cartos might be a little harder to refill that regular 3-piece carts, but not much. The advantages of the carto are mainly that they last longer between refills than a 3-piece cart and that you can refill several at your convenience and carry only those instead of a bottle of juice and various other paraphernalia.

(5) As an aside, have you gone back to analogs within the first month or two with V4L and if so, why? Just curious about if you're using them to cut back or as a replacement, entirely.

I haven't touched, or wanted a cigarette since September 2, 2009. I've been using V4L exclusively since mid-October.

I heard they are the best. Just needing a few details on specifics and some idea about working with the various starter kits, etc.

Maybe this will help:

Thanks, in advance.

Ask away. There are lots of good folks that are willing to help on this forum.

Sheryl, you're joking right? "Just the battery, charger and juice"? What else is in the kit, minus the juice? Thanks for the heads up though.

What flavor is WoWboy?

I can't wait to try this but now you got me worried about having to buy a new kit repeatedly - tell me that was sarcastic, lol!

These are all great answers and very helpful (I think Sheryl was kidding in that one part)

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who shared here as I struggle to take another chance on vaping after being ripped off off-line and quite new.

You guys are great!

I hope this works....I read the batteries don't come pre-charged - going to be a long 8 hours....

I'm so sick of the analogs and this forum has the happiest campers of all of them so, I'm going to have to make sure I've figure out everything I need - oh - when you check out, there's no option that I'm seeing to choose strength or flavors....Are you supposed to put your choice in the comment box or are the kits pre-picked, outside of color/auto-man battery? Can you pick any e-juice for the cartos or do you have to get the e-juice at the same time but separate then fill them?

Thank you guys SO MUCH!

When you order a kit, yes. Put your choice of ONE flavor & strength in the comments. Check the cartos to make sure your request is in-stock (if it ain't there, it ain't in stock).

Also be sure to order a few more boxes of cartos & some juice. On those, you will find the flavor you want & then select your strength before you add it to your cart. Once it's in your cart, you can change the quantity, if you wish.

Relax & trust us that you're making the best possible choice. Keep asking questions... we all did!

click strength - check
extra juices - check
cha-ching - extra $15

YOWCH!

Does the Ultimate Kit come with a mini USB charger? (one in one of the PCCs, I think but they do have them separately with a small cord)

It they don't come with, I posted about the universal USB someone else shared with me. I'll have to get the link. I have to run out for smokes. I'm dying trying to use the piece of junk I have now and can take no more.....

I'll be back in a few....

Thanks so much. I can do this. I can do this. I can do this!!!!

soon, pawpaw, I hope.

Yes!!!! WhooWeee!

That was so nice of you to look up for me Pawpaw!!!

Along w/my analogs I got a disgusting flavored cigar(I hate cigars but the flavored ones I can take two puffs off of and put down while I look for my stomach - THAT is how I'm going to get through the 8hr. charge and putting the set together - I know if I do it with an analog, I'll go back to them)

I'm 'divorcing' anologs this time, I _hope_. Just too bad there's no "back alimony". ;-)

Oh well....Let's hope this works and again many thanks for your help!!!!

You guys are fantastic!

The kit has two batteries. Can you order them differently or do they come identical?

What kind do you use - manual or automatic and what is best/worst about each?

(I can't think of another thing y'all didn't help me cover here. I'm thinking the manual might be better because it makes you have to stop and think but, I have no clue how they work comparatively or if the manual extends the battery life, is the same strength - that sort of thing so it'd be nice to have one of each but I'd like to make sure I order this right the first time, y'know?)

Any opinions/experiences you can share w/ these two types of batteries would be VERY helpful....

I personally prefer manuals, as do a lot of people here on the forums. They produce more vapor, allow you to control your hit better, are less prone to failure, and easier to clean. It takes a day or two to get used to the button. But after that it's second nature. :toast:

I would also like to know if it is possible to order two different battery colors in a starter kit. Any help would be appreciated :)

Thank you!

I know they have done that (or mix one manual & one auto) in the past.

When V4L receives the kits, there are no batteries and no cartomizers in the box. They pull those to order.

Finally got my order in but, forgot to ask about the batteries.

I got the kit w/o the PCC so I could get lots of carts/cartos(?) to try. I'm not sorry I did, cause if it works, they were out of my fav juice so I'd have to go purchase again. I also can't walk around with two cases until I get a bigger purse. I'm also clueless about the PCC cases and just can't take in anymore info b4 the sale ends. And, man, that helped A LOT!

You were right Pawpaw - USB AND passthrough too! I only got one juice and some ready to go flavs. If it does what everyone says, I should be good to go for a little while and end up with 3 batteries and the PCC case, later.

I'm still shaken up about getting ripped off so bad off-line but, I'm giving it another go.

Just wanted to let you know and thanks again to everyone for your help. I really appreciate it and can't wait to try the V4L out, hopefully with no major problems.

It may be possible but you have to remember to write it in in the little comment box when checking out.

If you wait until Tuesday to place your order, you''ll miss out on the sale.
