VA bill would ban smoking in car is children are present, doesn't impact e-cigarette use

HB 115 was introduced in VA last week, would ban smoking in cars if children under 13 are present, but wouldn't ban e-cigarette usage. The bill was referrred to the Committee for Courts and Justice.

The bill defines smoking as

For the purposes of this section, "smoke" means the carrying or holding of any lighted pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any kind or any other lighted smoking equipment or the lighting, inhaling, or exhaling of smoke from a pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any kind.
