Hi there. I bought a istick pico and im using a melo 3 mini tank with 12 mg banana flavour . Yesterday i switched out the ec head out with a new one. Now i read that the first rime fill the istick i should drip a little drop of e liquid down in the little holes in the ec head do i do this every time i change to a new flavour or? ?

On any tank system, any time you change your atomizer head/coils out, you'll want to prime it with eliquid -OR- let it sit for a while (10+ minutes) to saturate the wicking material.

New flavor will chase out the old. Few exceptions, menthol, cinnamon, sour fruits..

If you're doing DIY you'd normally flavor the eliquid directly in the bottle(s).

If you're switching flavors from Flavor A to Flavor B, I'd personally switch the atomizer heads, keeping the original one (if it's still in good condition) to use with Flavor A, and vice versa.

Another option, if you REALLY hated flavor A, you can also rinse the atomizer head and let them dry (or do a quick hit on the button to dry) or deal with a muted hit(s) as the water is boiled out of the wicking material.

I don't use atomizer heads. I don't use flavors i really hate..

Hi,

A few things have been missed... so just to add to what's been already stated.

All coils need to be "primed" when new.

This consist of saturating the cotton (or other type of wick).
Before you even put the coil in the tank: you need to put a few drops on the coil, in the center, very slowly so that it get absorbed. Then a few more drops on the side holes.

Then you put the coil in the tank, fill your tank (or have enough liquid already in it) and let it sit for a few seconds (15ish).

Then close the airflow, and do a few gentle pulls without activating the mod. This is to get the liquid going into the coil. Don't overdo it as you'll flood your airflow.

Then another 10-15 seconds to let it settle, and you should be good to go.

You do NOT need to do this when you are refilling your tank, this is only with a new dry coil cartridge.

As far as switching flavour.. there's nothing to do, just vape until you're low on liquid and refill your tank with the new liquid, and it will simply wick as you vape. Usually it take about 10 pulls before you start tasting the new flavour.
