Just checking in... Looks like fun games last night... I'm rather curious how the world would have changed with Uncle's computer...

what a day so far.
i just made it into work. took a reverse half day, kind of a necessity, the misses had a couple things that HAD to be done today.
went and looked at a rental home. the place is $150 more than what we pay now, & has no utilities included. Not sure if its feasible.
The pros:
1/2 block from a small and nice neighborhood park.
almost twice the size of our current abode.
nice yard.
3 bedrooms.
cons:
everything else.
terrible kitchen, cabinets, drawers.
awful paint job (tho they will fix it up)
the bathroom has a PINK sink/toilet/bathtub
NO A/C!

gotta keep looking. it would be nice to have all that room tho

With experience in finding something you can afford, if you painted or fixed a problems how much would you pay to have it done or do it yourself? Sometimes having a house to work on is worth it if it is less to pay for an fix it yourself.
This was with a reality company, dont think we could have negotiated price. they are going to paint it, but unless they did a complete overhaul of the kitchen and bathroom it would be like downgrading our house, only with more space.

Yes sir, you are thinking logical. Having things being worked on that are not finished will devalue the property. As for AC consider this, Obama can be found saying what he is doing will bring our electrical payments to rise. We are losing 200 electrical factories with nothing to replace them, as well as having to give energy to others. Soon people will find that AC is not going to be affordable and do without. So taking care of your household now may not be how to cool the environment with AC as much as can the roof keep the rain out as well as the winter weathers.
I ordered 2 VVV tanks today and a bunch of spare parts. The spare/replacement polypro tubes are a nice addition, I didn't see them last time I ordered. Thanks Ray!

the cats over at AMP havent responded to my offer to vend at my show. ima try OPV and see if they would like to. I would charge them less

They are found in the "Tank Parts" section with o-rings, caps, and thumbscrews. There's no picture to confirm that they have side fill holes, but one would assume... either way I'm happy to have them.
