Hi Ray...hope you are starting to regain some strength...loved your falling asleep in the walker story..very funny!..when you're feeling crappy, humor does sometimes help.

question for you..I shattered my 7ml pyrex tank last week...the caps are still perfectly good..lol..but I was wondering how I might go about replacing the tube? I don't see (on the site) that you sell replacement tubes.

Thanks.

Please send me this in an e-mail. I don't normally sell the glass tubes because I can't keep the tanks in stock, but I will make an exception and come up with a price for you when I reopen. I'm afraid if I don't have this as an e-mail it will slip my mind.

Why thank you Ray!

I sent an email and got a robo reply saying the site is closed (which I knew)...will you get the email or should I re-send it when you are open?

No I got the e-mail so you're all set. I just needed something I could make a reminder out of so I didn't forget about it.

Not doing too terrible today. I went and had my spinal epidural today. Haven't really noticed much change yet though. Mostly I'm just wanting to get that surgery scheduled. Haven't had any luck reaching the person in charge of it yet though. I'm sure I'll feel much better once they get that free floating piece of disc material out of there though. 11 x 17mm, that's a big chunk to be moving around pressing on nerves when it feels like it.

Thanks for the reply Ray..I'm surprised you even check the thread with all that's going on, unless you like having the distraction :)

You're more than welcome. I like to answer any customer questions or issues as soon as possible. This forum and my e-mail are both checked very regularly.
IMO there's a lot of valid reasons for why things can and do go wrong in running a business and disappointing customers. Lack of communication should NEVER be one of them though.

Personal Status Update.

The spinal epidural seems to be kicking in a bit. My leg pain is actually tolerable now. I have my doubts about it lasting long enough to get me to surgery but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. With that big of a chunk of disc material floating(?) around the spinal nerve it seems more like dumb luck whether it will hit the nerve again or not.

I did get a tentative surgery date though, it should hopefully be confirmed Monday after they're sure of a Hospital OR suite availability as well as a bed for my overnight stay. If it comes through it'll be for 6/26. Recovery is supposed to go very quickly and have me back to walking with minimal to no pain in just a few days.

If I can actually get all the other aspects of the business caught up enough, I may be able to re-open briefly before surgery (that may just be wishful thinking on my part though). My Priority had been getting all the orders out before my "vacation (LOL)". Then I was going to take some time to catch up on all the other business things I had fallen behind on. Before I actually took some time off, unfortunately I never got that far. I would like to open briefly though but I would shut down again in time to get everything shipped before surgery.

I should be back to usual business operation by July 1, I think

Hey Ray... hate to talk shop while you are ailing, but I have been wondering about your gold end caps.

On the site, they almost look orange. I am wondering how gold they are, and how well they would match the gold color of a device like the KTS (Kamry Telescopic Storm)?

Anyone else is welcome to respond as well!

I'm not sure how to answer this one, to me they don't look orange at all. To be honest though I do have issues with seeing some shades of colors, but no one has ever complained of them not being gold.
Since I've never held that mod in my hand, there's no way I could do a comparison for you. I'm sure you'll get answers from some of the other folks with Gold caps and screws though.

RayN, healing from surgery is a one time thing, you don't get to do it twice, so give yourself plenty of berth and time, even though you will be up and around quickly (they do amazing things nowadays) it still all takes a toll on your body. Glad you're getting some pain relief though

I could not agree more, I have had two surgery's that have had to be redone from my stubborn headed self. It really sucks when it happens.
