This dry burn... isn't it just going to burn the rope thingy in there? It's already black
No not really sure what you mean.... lol do tell... I have a few of them with the 2.8ohm coils which wick perfect after untwisting the wick. No funk taste and no dry hits either, same coil 5 weeks old... just saying... of course i clean them in Vodka and dry them well with a paper towel, dry burn them clean again, dry, fluff the wick and fill, no problems here.. That it the Genuine Vivi Nova V3 3.5ml..
Actually its a funny thing, when its black thats when it time to soak and clean, dry, dry burn them in pulses, and clean again, its crazy, but i just did it an hour ago, and my wick looks as white and clean as the day i got it...

Vivi Nova heads have rubber/silicone gaskets, those don't ever get scorched when dry burning do they?
It is hard to beat the simplicity of a cartomizer, like them or not.
Other news: I modded my SB button, no permanent harm done to the mod. It looks pretty sharp. I'll post some pics when my new VVV tank shows up.

Well no not at all if your talking about the ones that seal the bottom threaded end, but you remove the seal on top of the coil that seals it to the top of the tanks cap to dry burn them so you can see what your doing and so that one doesn't get damaged, though still not likely, plus it just makes it easier to see the coil and blow off the gunk... Cant wait to see the pics, keep us posted....

OMG! How do you get the rope in the LITTLE HOLE! Sheesh! I cleaned the wire - it had burned juice on it I guess... the rope just disintegrated. I got more rope from a cracked clearo... what is the trick to getting a fat rope down a little hole? I know I am going to get blasted by pervs LMAO! I can barely SEE the hole LMAO!

completely different. Sweetener(sucralose) is just sweet. EM tastes like cotton candy... cotton candy flavoring is pretty much just 10% (10%)-ethyl maltol... (basically 1% by weight total)

It's not as easy as sticking new silica in a hole, or so I've heard. I've only rebuilt Protank and Evod heads. It's similar though.

I watched another youtube video and got an idea to wrap the tips in tape XD it worked GREAT and then I hit the button and the wire turned red and scared the H E L L outta me, so I pushed it around with the screw dirver and tried again. I broke the wire

Coils will do that when you do a dry burn. When they are soaked in e-liquid the coils don't get that red, they just cook the juice. It is kinda freaky, but it's the same way toast is made. Rebuilding coils takes a lot of getting used to, and can be dangerous especially when there is a short. Stick with prebuilt heads when in doubt. Lisa, just an FYI about a previous post you made. You said you didn't want to mess around with VV/VW because you didn't want to reset your device every time you changed out the battery. The Innokin SVD retains it's settings when you take out the battery, as well as when you switch between voltage and power modes. So if you set your device at (for example) 8.5 watts, and then want to switch to voltage mode, it will still be at 8.5 watts when you decide to switch back, and vis-versa. Don't know if that makes a difference for you, but thought I'd let you know.
Edit: but it is a rather heavy and long mod, and I know you said your hands get very tired when you have to hold big heavy mods, so...

I have that iTaste SVD, Tish but I don't like that it has three buttons... I tend to twist my PV as I vape... I think I developed the habit trying to keep a clearo wet LOL Anyway, I keep pushing the wrong buttons and then I don't know what the heyho I have changed... I haven't even figured what the buttons do LOL
