3) Smiling once again at the weirdness of life. I suggested to my local vape shop that they have samples of their e-liquids available for customers to try. My thought was having 1 small bottle of each flavor and people could bring their own drip tips or whatever. It's the only brick & mortar within at least 40 miles. They do offer what they call "testers," but that's not the same thing. The testers are flavors they select for you to try and won't give you another one until you write a review. I commented that while crossing your fingers hoping you'll like something ordered online, with an actual store front it's like walking into Macy's and being asked to buy perfume without smelling it first. A few other local people have asked them the same question.

Now, 2 months later, I get a response stating, "The reasone we dont let people sample liquid is because its a healt issue." (sic)

I decided not to go any further. Let's see - healt(h) issues... I imagine someone could have a pg reaction, but it might be better to find that out before buying a whole bottle...and...ummm...nicotine is poisonous, I guess that's a problem. Anyone have input?

Chitty banter -- Yes! My local brick & mortar, the only one in town, is downright lousy. I do need to give them credit for selling me the device that got me off the stinks... other than that they are pretty terrible: not very helpful or knowledgeable. Once when I was there the two employees (girlfriend/boyfriend I think) got in a vicious fight. They were screaming at one another while I just stood around, not sure what to do.

Fortunately I haven't needed to visit for some time.

I thought of a couple of others ones: Someone might injure themselves by dropping a bottle on their foot or miss the drip tip, get a drop on the floor and slip in it. I agree that Dumb As Rocks isn't the best business plan. It may currently be the only store around, but I doubt that will be for long. One would think they'd be going out of their way to engender customer loyalty in anticipation of competition.

ETA: @vince - they have actually lost my business, unless I had an emergency. Their prices are too high and, of course, you have to pay sales tax, but I thought the convenience would balance out the cost of shipping. It doesn't.
