I love the sound of that juice! You know what I like ;)
The watermelon candy was great, would love to vape some morez!

#2 So I have returned from my journey into the new century. Bank account opened at the credit union. New cell phone purchased.

LD, speaking of the new cell, I will have to PM you my new phone number. Would you like me to mix you anything before we plan a meet? I have been reworking the Killing Moon recipe with a different brand of pomegranate flavoring that I think I like better. Experimenting with extra vanilla as well. Just for you. :D

damn 4000 posts.. O_O!

Well - Probably the "later" . . . Since "You" would have known about them WAY BEFORE that anyway, you would have gotten a PM from a Moderator telling you/giving you a warning . . . SO if you are really interested in seeing what they look like, you can check My Profile and see if there are any there for you to view . . . ;)

5: "I" checked all over "your" profile and saw no example to view, either they have been removed or only viewable by "you" ;) Had to use the quotes "Uncle" style :D

Been poking around varied online vape shops. Think I've settled on the two-tone Kamry "Storm" (GG clone) or the black annodized (sp?) Bolt (even though it isn't truly mechanical.

Thoughts on either... or another device I may be overlooking? Keeping in mind my desire to avoid internal electronics?

The only suggestion I have is look for a mechanical mod with a side button. Sucks to have to constantly stop the activation of a mod because the bottom button will activate by the devices own weight.

Agreed. I'm always standing my mods on end. Side button is a must.

Is the desire to avoid buttons because they break? I understand wanting to stay away from circuitry, that can always get overloaded or fry/break. Also, what's the budget? I don't own much, but I spend a lot of time reading and researching.

Also, liblue1's back! Hooray! I didn't think it would take too long. I said a wrong word on ECF once and was lucky to get a warning. It can be surprising how little it takes to get in trouble. I've been watching my act ever since. I really don't want to get kicked out of here. I'm glad you're back!

4: Well Uncle either I don't have any points against me, or I can not find them. Hope it is the later.

3.

Was going to say the same thing, maybe it only shows up if you have points against you cause I couldn't find it either. I guess either I have been a good little boy or I just haven't been caught yet....... I am going with the latter. :p

Buttons are fine. On the side. Bottom fire buttons have a tendency to fire a mod when you stand it on end.

I'd like to pick up another mechanical because I prefer the smoother vape. The simplicity of their use, and design. Their tendency to prolong a coil's life, and the lack of parts to fail.

As far as budget goes... I am in the value bin range. 50 bucks or so. I can go up to 70, but I am trying to save part of the budget for a triple V Pyrex when Ray re-opens.

I did see a mod called The Blade in my window shopping. It has no button. Instead it has an internal battery tube that you slide up to close the circuit and fire the mod... neat idea, but I feel like it would always by sliding around and firing.

boardopboy, The Bolt is not a bad idea at all. You get a choice of size with a battery extender, 18500 or 18650. MadVapes has a great selection and price, and replacement head/switch units for chrome and gunmetal that let you use ego threads. They are very low on chrome Bolts, if you want one better get on it. It might depend on what size batteries you already have. I was eying one myself but made a flashlight mod myself that does the same thing for $15 and a lot of time and 3 burnt fingers (thanks you cute little innocent doggy!).

I've never understood the bottom button mods other than laziness on the part of the designer. It makes a lot of sense from a engineering standpoint, but it is very impractical for the user. Buttons fail, and that sucks bad sometimes. At least this mod has a replacement. It's very simple as is, and if you want you can "Kick" it with the extender. If I haven't made it clear yet, I don't even have one, but I like the practicality of the design. And it's in your budget, if you own the batteries and charger already.

The Bolt is high on the list. Ultimately, I'll probably just wind up flipping a coin! But that two-tone Kamry sure is sexy!

#3 I have been vaguely thinking of getting a Mechmod for the bf, and I did notice that very sexy looking two-tone Kamry as well. My understanding is that the market is flooded with affordable Chinese mechs at the moment. I was checking out the mech threads here on
ECF and was literally blown away by all the choices.

Not just affordable, but good quality as well. And I think it was Sigelei(?) recently flooded the market with something like 24 different mech mods? I couldn't keep up with what everyone thought what number was the best! I think 19 was popular.

If you really loved your BF Tish, you'd get him a Poldiac :D

Now thats a pretty mod. Price point puts it off my radar. But man... man oh man.
