this will be my largest event!
i have been coordinating and promoting events for 10 years, since 03 when i was a freshman in college. the biggest event i ever pulled off by myself had 850 people!by myself, meaning not in conjunction with other promoters, or shows that i was assisting with. this event, is between another person and myself, and we have employed a grip of promoters, street team associates, djs, and crews to help us pack the place. very excited for this, and it brings a lot of positive attention and new patrons to our ever evolving scene

wish i could pull it off full time, i would need to be in a larger city, with a set venue or club. tucson is too small for consistency in the dance floor attendees. but in a larger city, it would be like starting all over again. i enjoy doing it, its rewarding creating the same experience for others that changed my life all those years ago
Well you just never know what can happen. Lots of businesses started in one city and got so big that they were pulled into other cities!
i think my expansion would not really be as an event promoter, although i could pull off some shows in phoenix. but rather as a talent manager. i represent some amazing talented djs and producers that could get big with the right connections. i am always networking trying to get them gigs out of state

I won 6 contests in 7 days once, but nothing that big. (Mostly just juices.) It was a nice chance to try new vendors.

thank you Tommy, as the event is near ill prob make a bunch of posts about it as my stress will start to overflow into other facets of my life.
