I recently purchased a Kanger Protank 3, and I had a lot of problems with it. Flooding, juice getting into my mouth etc: All the New user syndromes. Little did I know it was the way *I* was using it that was causing the problems. I went to my local shop (Vaporwize in Memphis), and Andy took the time to explain to my how to Vape correctly. I was sucking on it like a straw, not gently. After I changed the way I hit it, the entire experience changed for the better. Well...little did I know there was an actual learning curve in vaping correctly, and thank you Andy for taking the time to teach me!!!

HOORAY!!!! Yes, I too suffered from trying to suck the battery into my lungs at first. Gurgles, spatters, ICK. Now-a-days, much smoother (and waaaaay more satisfying experience.)

Welcome to the forums and a big :thumb: to your B&M guy for pointing you down a better path :)

I am also originally from Memphis. I had the same problems with a Squape I purchased a few months ago. I was so convinced that it was a P.O.S that I thought about sending it back to the company I had purchased it from, but my local vape shop showed me the error of my ways. Now I just sit back, relax and enjoy the vape on the Squape. Welcome to ECF.

You make a fine point Dennis. It's only natural that we try to vape like we smoked. I started with Blu e-cigs and the only way to get any kind of throat hit with those things was to draw very slowly. A habit that proved useful when I advanced.

Other than the occasional user error, I've really never had a problem with any kind of tank I owned. (I do have disdain for the top feeders though).

Me, too, Kodiak! I also started with the Blu. Guess they are kind of like "training wheels" for vaping. Who knew?:)
