Hey all

Well like the title says i am looking for an affordable mod. I currently use aerotank mega with coolfire 1. I wanna change to a VV/VW device. So here are a few mods i am considering that are available in shops near me.

1. Innokin iTaste VV/VW 3.0
2.SMOKtech SID VV/VW
3.AnyMOD
4.Joyetech's eVic
5.sigelei
6.VAMO 5
No meaning in the order. Now all of these are around 40-50 euros except e vic. So any helpful insights as to what to choose and if its worth giving that extra money for e vic will be appreciated :) If you got any other suggestions would be glad to hear!

Cheers

i'd rule out the itaste vv v3; thats a battery, not a mod for replaceable batteries.

affordables would be the sid, sigelei zmax and the vamo; if you get the vamo, be sure to get the steel, not the chrome version;
the evic is more high priced quality item with more bells and whistles.

i like the solid steel build on my zmax, but i use my chome vamo all the time because the zmax is 1 button;
the vamo is easier to use;
i've repaired my vamo 2 times in 8 months- centerpin insulator ring replacement;
the vamo also has a reputation for stripped 510 threads but i've never had that problem because i only use ego threads.

thanks edyle although now i have more questions :)

well itaste its still vv/vw right? so is it a disadvantage that you cant replace the battery? also heard the battery last for quite long while now my batteries die after 3 hours.

Why not the chrome in vamo? :) And about the fixes how much did it cost you? also whats the differences between vamo 5 and vamo v3?

If you wanted an ego type battery I'd reccommend the itaste vv v3 because it has vw, and shows you volts and ohms. It's just a battery with the extras stuck on it.
I don't think it lasts particularly long; the long lasting one is the mvp2; thats' a big version of the vv v3.

If you want to save a buck on a mod, a chome vamo would be the way to go; but I'd recommend a steel mod for solidity.
I fixed my vamo myself; the hard part is getting the pressfit top off, then when you see how simple the assembly is on the inside, it turns out it's highly fixable if you're so inclined; replacement pcb boards are also available for it if that's what's needed.

My vamo- the one I had to fix - and it's a chrome- I think it's a v3;
I also have a steel v5s control head which has been my main vape since May; so far no trouble with that one.

I had a SiD, and it worked well.
The things I don't like is I had to do a center pin repair, and a lot of times I hit the 3 click on the power button and end up in the menu, adjusting my wattage which becomes frustraiting.
With those devices, you need to buy good batteries and a good charger.
If you are only planning on running Clearomizers an MVP2 would probably work great. If you think you may get into rebuildables a 30w box mod would probably be a better choice. I didn't like the box style at first, but after getting one I rarely use my tube mods, as they constantly fall over and roll off the desk, and they are super tall.

Personally I would go with the evic. Great mod. Sid was a great mod but somewhat flakey. Had two of them and both ended up failing but were great when they worked.
The problem in my experience with any of those mods is the button will start to go after 6 months sometime. The evic is the only mod that lasted for me until I dropped it way too many times.

The iTaste vv3 is a great mod, but I can't say it's very long lasting; however it does work in pass-thru mode -- you can vape even when it's plugged in. If you want long lasting, an Innokin MVP2 is a better choice, although it's a box mod, which you may not want. However you can charge a phone or even another mod from the MVP2.

I'd second the recommendation of a Sigelei Zmax; whether it's a v3 or a v5, both are superb, very reliable and durable.

I quite like my Vamo black chrome (gun-metal), but with either of the chrome finishes, you have to be careful of scratches, and they're fingerprint magnets. The v5 has a slight bevel on the top cap; my v2 is completely flat, which I prefer. When I put my Vamo in my purse, I put it into a little chamois bag that used to have sunglasses in it, to protect it from scratches.

Skip the VV3 and go for the MVP 2.0 , it's awesome . It's the only device i know of that gets FIVE star reviews from literally every person that reviews it .

Don't believe it , check out the reviews below (click on the yellow reviews box ) , over 800 Five star reviews , many say they have much more expensive devices but prefer the MVP . A full charge will last you three days of heavy vaping. Can be had for between $35.00 and $40.00.

Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0 - 101 Vape

One of it's best features is it's flat signal , same type of signal that the Provari has , as a matter of fact , read what this veteran said in the "ask the veterans" forum.

IMHO, the MVP is very close to a ProVari in vape quality.

Some of the most knowledgeable and experienced vapors on this site liked the post and agreed with the above comment , the Provari costs five times the price of an MVP in case you were not aware .

Your question was best value for the money right , well i think you have your answer then.
