VAMO amp limitations...??

Well I'm pretty decided on buying a VAMO (actually I did, but oh well).

I can't seem to find anywhere that shows the amp limits of the VAMO, can anyone enlighten me?

I read 5 amps from another site. That's a pretty heavy amp load. Provari is limited to 3.5 amps. I haven't hit the load limit on the Provari except by installing an actual shorted atty or one where the center post retracted and allowed the outer ring to touch center on the Provari. I've been down to 1.2 ohms without issues with voltages that produced the flavor I wanted.

At any rate, the Vamo should let you vape just about any combination.

Note that the 5 amp output is stacking 18350's. In boost mod with a 18650 (or 18350), it can do around 3 amps.

Yeah, plenty of power. Theoretically you can pump up to 30watts out of this thing. 6volts to 1.2ohm atty. Why would one want to do that I don't know, but at least you can LOL.
But like meatsneakers said, you need the input voltage of stacked 18350's (or 650's) to do this and a single 18650 (or 350) will max around the 3amp limit which comes from, if I remember correct, from pbusardo's review when he measured/said that the 1.5ohm tops off at 4.5volts. Which would give 13.5w which is plenty.
With an eGo MDCC you want to have the stacked combo if you really wanna drive it properly, it sure gives a satisfactory vape at 4.5volts but I like to run mine at 4.8-5.0v depending on the juice, which gives me, for example, on this 1.6ohm MDCC between 14.4-15.6w.
