Vamo battery issues!

Hello all,

This morning I turned my Vamo on and it worked perfectly fine. Now on my way to work as I was driving I switched out batteries and noticed that it wasnt turning back on thinking I grabbed the wrong battery I grabbed ANOTHER battery out of my bag same problem. When I go to work I kept trying these batteries which I know are fully charged. I noticed sometimes I get 2-3 blinks out of my screen when I am screwing on the battery cap SOMETIMES. I feel like there is an issue with the battery connector or the spring. If i play with the spring I notice I tend to make quick contact where the screen will flicker 2-3 times but then go out. Any advice anyone? Any experiences don't know what to do and I have only had this vamo for 1 week!!

Need more info.... there's 2 versions of the Vamo - the first one didn't accept some batts and version 2 was to fix that. If you've only had it a week - contact the vendor quickly. Some warranties are 10 days, some ... smoktek, eg. is a month.

It sounds like the battery isn't making contact. Maybe the spring got compressed just enough for this to happen. Try stretching out the spring but be careful you don't dislodge it. Another thing you can try is putting an earth magnet on the battery nipple. If that doesn't work then contact the vendor.
