Fairly new to vaping.
I ordered my SS VAMO v2 from smoktek. The day after I ordered it he called me and said he was out of the button top Efest's I ordered with it and asked if I mind if he gave me flat tops instead and replace the VAMO spring so they fit. I said no problem. He included the original spring as well.
I received it yesterday and had the heat issue. Not "hot" but very warm on the bottom (and top...)
This morning I swapped the spring with the original and I have significantly less heat.
My question is - should there be some heat? A little? Or none? It's not even close to the spring he installed but there's some. Only during a vape and quickly cools. Just wondering if I should go to the hardware store or order a replacement, etc.
Also - both springs look identical in size/thickness but one is darker than the other.
