Vamo question

ok, first I hope to get my new vamo before I leave for Malaysia...I got the standard China post (yes ordered it from china). It was a really good deal. Question I have for people is am I able to find the gold spring to replace the silver one from Lowes?

I saw somewhere the spring in a torch is good but wanted to just get the spring and not get the entire torch. I could not find it where I purchased the unit nor the batteries and don't want to order just a spring.

My KGO is getting too hot and does not hold the charge as long (about 1/2 the time as before) and it has been appearing to become much worse. My Spinner fell and now won't turn on any longer and decided it is time to do a mod (change out the batteries is much much cheaper)

Here's a link to the Vamo forum. I think I read something about a flashlight spring but wasn't really paying attention since I got the V2 and there wasn't an issue with it.

I have the vamo too and the spring keeps the batteries nice and tight...no problems.

Depending on where you ordered it from, it should already have the newer spring. And no, I don't believe you're going to find that spring, or a suitable replacement at Lowes

I would instead use a VAMO spring.. Free Replacement spring for the Vamo, fixes the warming in the end cap caused by high resistance wire.
(The Free part is if you ordered your VAMO through them...)

Thanks for the link. It is the hot spring one that I was referring to. Wanted the info just in case.
