My vamo just stopped working about 3 weeks ago, I got up and switched batteries and nothing, tried other batteries nothing. My aw did have some residue on the positive side though. I figured I would ask on here before I scrap it. I was gonna disassemble it to look for any broken wires, but the press fit on mine seems extremely tight. Any ideas, opinions or what not would be great. I hate to toss something out that's fixable.

Are the batteries fully charged?
Check to ensure you're putting the batteries in correctly, positive end in 1st. Watch the screen for blinking when you replace the battery cap. If it does blink, Good. If it doesn't blink, make sure the spring is making contact to the battery and that nothing is in the other end blocking the battery connection.
Once that is done, quickly press the main button 5 to 8 times. If nothing happens, try again.

Yeah the batteries are fully charged, i had the thing quiet a long time, so ya I am putting them in correctly. The button thing isn't an issue like you can click it forever and it won't do anything no matter how fast.. I will try restretching the spring again though, I haven't done it since the first week I had it.
