Vamo or SVD?

Hello guys, i recently bought an itaste vv and i'm not very pleased with its performance, it gets hot in like 3 pulls at 12W. I would like to have long vape sessions (10-20 min) with high wattage settings (10-13W) mainly for show, i just dont want it to get super hot when vaping with my friends, so i would like an upgrade, and i have my eyes on two mods:

Itaste SVD and the Vamo V2. Now here comes my predicament cause i really dont know which one to buy, could u guys tell me ur opinion of which one would be cooler, or what could i get to have cool vapes in long sessions?

Thanks a lot guys and have a good day.

I was choosing between the very same ones just a couple of weeks ago. I decided to go with the Vamo V3 from FT. I am more than happy with it, but I think I would have been happier either way. I was using eGo C Twists prior. I know it is a hard decision, but I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Happy shopping and happier vaping!

I had started a thread on this very topic.....i ended up with the VAMO V3 just because of the price and it works great so far......extreme vapor hit on my vivi novas and i get everything out of my RBA and RDAs now.......the VAMO V2 i know had some problems with the connection post where the 510 connection was.....so if you get a VAMO get the V3 or even V4 now that its out.

But both are really good APVs from what ive read

if you are going for the "cool factor" i would say get a vamo v3 (fasttech has them for 36$ last i checked / 50$ for the kit) and one of these

The real question in my mind is do I get the Vamo V3 in stainless for $33, or the Sigelei V5 in stainless for $50. All need batteries and chargers. If you want a telescoping mod, I recommend the Sigelei. Best APV under $100 imho. If you don't want or need telescoping, I would get the Vamo. Of the three, you won't go wrong. They all use the same chip, but the build quality is best in the Sigelei. I also like the one button Sigelei screen better than the Vamo or the SVD. Again, they are so close in almost every way, I think it comes down to the look and feel that you like and prefer. My two cents.

I have a Vamo V2. The top started wobbling after 2 weeks. It works but i like things tight and straight. Black chrome is a mistake. I'm not sure if they fixed the tops on the newer versions but I'd like to fix mine. Anyone know how? I also have a ProVari Mini. Never had a problem with it but they're expensive and the vape quality isn't much different. But it's nicer to use and seems like it'll last.

I have both mods. I like both mods.

Vamo V2 - top piece by ego threads cannot be removed. No settings lock feature. Works great. Looks great (get stainless steel version or finish will rub off). Can be used in 18650 or 18350 mode. Issue with center pin (fixed with replacement o-ring #60). Make sure you use in NO2 mode. Compatible with all my tanks and they sit flush.

SVD - top piece by ego threads can be removed so cleaning is easier. Settings lock feature. Works great. looks great. Can be used in 18650 or 18350 mode. Issue with center pin (fixed with replacement o-ring #60). Compatible with all my tanks and they sit flush. Telescoping (has sharp edges in grooves). Battery hog. I like the iclear 30's

Hey Atx Cloud, gotta question for you. Is the Vamo far better than EGO Twist? I enjoy vaping with the EGO, but wanted something more hefty and robust. Does your battery on the Vamo last as long as the EGO? In your honest opinion, do you think I should upgrade to a Vamo? If so, why?

Get the svd. It is built much better and can take a few wacks. This cannot be said for the two vamos I broke before getting the svd

Both the vamo and the svd use the same 33.3 hrz chip so the vaping power is the same on both devices. Plus tanks are flush mounted on the svd which makes everything more stable

I'd have to agree with this. My VAMO is barely a year old and I just bought an SVD to replace it because the VAMO is starting to fall apart. Not to say it hasn't been a great mod. But the SVD is tougher. My friend let me use his SVD for a week before I decided to buy one, and I was very impressed.

I would have to say the SVD does take a beating. I'm in construction and I drag it with me everyday. A quick clean after work and it looks like new (Stainless_). I like the simplicity of the controls and the look in general. It just feels solid in your hand. The only thing is the threading of the telescopic part...a bit loose and I can see it could strip out or get stuck eventually. Not sure if they have addressed this issue yet as mine is only about 3 months old. I use it a lot and have never had any issues yet. I charge the bat about every second day.
