Vamo Problems.... Cold Flavorless Vape Anyone?

So I bought the vamo a few weeks back... and i really like it for a 50 dollar mod. Until lately I started to notice cool flavorless vapes. I was using it with a stingray 510 atty. So my first thought was the atty had gone bad. So i put a vivi nova on the vamo... meh it was a little better. I put the same atty on the mvp no problem delicious vape. So im guessing it has to be the mod right? anyone else had this problem? Oh btw this is the Vamo V2

No, batteries don't affect flavor. You've either got it set way too low (voltage or wattage) or there's something else going on. Batteries give power, and cartos/attys/etc give flavor.

Curious, did you change the battery in between? The Vamo won't remember your voltage setting when you swap batteries. It might just need turned back up.

Yes i changed batteries... and I switched between both voltage and wattage... had them right around 3.9 4 volts on a 1.7 atty ohm atty. and about 7 watts... turned the voltage up had a burnt taste... its gotta be the mod right?

Are you switching back and forth between voltage and wattage? 4 volts on a 1.7 atty would give you ~9.4 watts. But if you've changed over to wattage and set it at 7, you'll only be at ~3.4 volts which would explain the cooler vape. You can only set one mode at a time, the Vamo will set the other.

Also of note, the Vamo WILL remember your wattage setting when you swap batteries if you're in wattage mode but will default to 3.0 volts if in voltage mode.

No thats my point is that no matter weather using voltage or wattage.. it still vaping like crap. Whatever I put on it weather it be a vivi nova or atty or a carto tank... its got no flavor and really a cold vape. I put the same stuff on another mod and have no problems...

Well, my VAMO works great on lr dual coils at 7 watts. You say what your using on top works with the mpv.. sounds like the problem could be your center posts not connecting very well. Each device is different.. try pulling your posts a bit and try again.

Just eliminating possibilities.... It sounds like its the Vamo, try SupplyDaddy's suggestion and see.

Another idea, check to make sure you're still in RMS mode.

Better yet - push the little button on the right for 5 seconds and see what the Vamo is actually reading for Ohms. Maybe you need to clean the threads/pin for good contact.
