I want to get a Vamo. I have ADHD and am so confused on where & what to get.
I have no idea how to get the cheapest but good quality batteries & charger. I would like to get both the different battery sizes. I think they are 18650 & 18350's? But i'm not completely sure. I'm not sure of anything. Button or flat tops, etc.
I was trying to find the best batteries on fastech but cant navigate their site at all. Besides, I don't even know what I'm looking for.

I have a major brain injury [TBI] & it's all too confusing to me, plus I'm old & broke & have COPD. So I thought I would ask for some help.
There's too many choices & places to get what I need and not sure if fasttech has all the right stuff. The chargers seem to be a problem area as some don't list the 18350 as one that fits. I've also read about big differences in the chargers quality, etc. & seems like Nitecore is the brand to get, or am I wrong? Could that be at Amazon?
I'd really like to get it all at the same place if possible but will shop around if I need to. I'm looking at fasttech but would rather buy from a USA seller if the prices are low enough. It's that American thing, even though it's all Chinese stuff. Know what I mean?

If anyone would help me & give me shortcuts to the correct stuff, that would be more than great. I have been struggling with this for weeks & weeks, really months.

Any help would be beyond appreciated and would stop my head from hurting so bad.

I'm more or less a newbie as I'm using the original kit I started with & it's on it's last leg. I hope I can nail this down before my unit gives out. I figured since everybody has gone through all of this maybe someone could straighten me out. I'm unemployed and have no budget but sure cant afford to go back to smoking analogs. Please consider it like saving someones life, literally.

Thank you so very much.

BAM! Great deal. Go get one.

That's a great deal. The charger alone is around $17-$20 on Amazon. Around $15 for the batteries. You end up getting the Vamo for ~$15. Would be hard to beat that anywhere else.

Don't forget the e-juice when you order!

Yah, just stay away from Vapor Break. Too much of a gamble there.

I buy from Vapor Break frequently and have no problems with them. Product from China takes 10 to 12 daYS to arrive but it DOES arrive, Have you had problems with them personally?

BAM! Great deal. Go get one.

THIS is a fantastic deal! I got the EXACT same charger, vamo and batteries (well mine were not Panasonic and I purchased an extra 18350) and I paid a lot more. As a comparison, my local vape shop sells the VAMO---by itself-- for $55. They sell the charger for $30. So, you can imagine what I paid!

here is another option. first, I'd like to let you know I have ADD out the a@$ so I feel your frustration. I'll give you the website I ordered from and a complete list of what I actually ordered so that you know on paper what is compatible and what your buying will work with confidence. If you need anything we are all here to help :)
Welcome to VaporAlley - Your home for the best electronic cigarettes, e-cig supplies and American Made e juice. (I bought my vamo here for $52.00, or you can buy one cheaper somewhere else. vaporalley has GREAT customer svc) If you find this stuff on the list somewhere cheaper, then go for it. this site link I posted, is purely for the sake of keeping this as simple as possible, in the way of me distributing the info for you to see for yourself.

THE LIST:

*VAMO v2

*IMR18350 batteries. flat-top style is preferred (about $8.00. these are sold in pair. I recommend buying 2 pair *thats 4 total batteries to be clear*

*TrustFire battery charger TR-001

*Kangertech Protank or any type of tank that you know is 510 threaded for your VAMO's compatibility. I personally purchased 2 of these protanks. very easy to use, and work pretty darn good.

Get some Juice, and have at it! Like I said we are all here to help

Wow thanks for this & all the input. It looks like I'm getting close without too much more brain damage. Ha. I was trying to stay away from a Trustfire charger due to quite a few problems I saw here at ECF.

Now of course, I want to get some 18350 batteries to use in the short mode. What batteries should I get?
I couldn't find Panasonic in that size. Do they not make them?
Any suggestions?
That Fasttech website gives me a headache. They have way too much stuff.

Thanks again, you are all the best.

What is IMR? A type or a brand?

LMR refers to Lithium-ion Manganese Rechargeable. this battery type is most common for ecigs because of the higher load it can handle.
as for panasonic 18350? I'll look but no luck so far.

I would agree that navigating and finding things on the Fast Tech site can be quite the adventure. However, everything you need from them can be purchased by only using a single link. I've found shipping from Fast Tech usually takes about 5 to 7 working days.

This is the chrome VAMO at Fast Tech that includes both an excellent charger and Panasonic 18650 batteries. Pick silver with Use CPASTE13SPRING to bring the cost down to $48.85. For the model selection choose Choose Vamo, 5-in-1, Silver (Nitecore US plug) in the dropdown menu. Shipping is free.
Vamo with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/2*Panasonic 18650 batteries

IMR batteries release their power fast enough to supply adequate power for the VAMO's variable power. Panasonic's are not IMRs but a hybrid battery that also provides adequate power. Panasonic may make 18350 sized batteries but they definitely do not make any suitable for use in the VAMO.

You are wise to stay away from Trustfire chargers. They don't have a very good reputation.

Vapor Beast always has EFEST 18350 Batteries in stock for a reasonable price ($11.99 for a pair) plus free shipping. If you vape 70PG/30VG juice try a few of their sample flavors. Their juices are ruthlessly cherry-picked and are comparable to the best juices specialty vendors offer.

Are the Panasonic batteries that come with this safe to use with VAMO or would it be better to use IMRs ?

The Panasonics are absolutely safe to use with the VAMO although all PV batteries should be treated with respect. They provide plenty of power for the VAMO to operate correctly.
