Apparently this is the same device with different names stamped on it.

Is there a definitive thread on this device?

Also is there a consensus on best overall Clearo to use with this device

Another thing what metal is the battery compartment threads made of?
If it's aluminum, I'll probably have to pass on the device
Aluminum it such a soft metal that will cross thread easily, or just wear out too quickly

This is the definitive thread for the Vamo, i have no problem with the threads, so long as you are careful.
Check out the Protank and the iClear30, unless you want to get into Cartos and tanks.
Great device, I still use it even though i have others.

there are several companies making the vamo. the original was the bamboo at health cabin, dont know if its still the same company making them for HC now. some are def made better then others. the ones from fasttech seem to built ok i have the v2 and its actually a nice mod for 30 bucks my original from HC was like 45 last year. and while it is functionally challenged from being beat to death still works fine(with some duct tape lol)

Love my V2, I ordered it with an iClear 30 and have since bought another. I also use iClear 16 and a vivi mini with a metal tank for cinnamon juices. However clearos are a personal choice. It will depend on if you want bottom coil, top coil, airy draw, tight draw etc. I get tight draws and like the warmth of the vape on top coils, but like I said it is going to be personal preference.

Not sure what they are made of, but it is pretty tough. I carry mine all day in 18650 mode. ( I use a belt holster from a mini maglite) the only issue I have had was the o-ring got doughnut like and I had to replace it due to misfires. Not a big deal and a cheap $2 fix.
