Oceys little pop in was a bit of a joke on me after another ECF person and I took over a thread for about 4 pages on WoW awhile back.

Sort of a look bear you did it again. ;)

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt, I was just wandering by and got confused.

Your post count proves that i think mate haha, thats fine i only have one other friend on here :D
I'll just nosey at what your posting :p

I mostly have two kinds of posts: graphics in the New Members forum to give a visual point of reference to basic vaping terminology and snarky comments in the rest of the sub-forums primarily intent upon derailing the topic.

I have a vamo v2 and it's good but heavy. I've been able to pick up a smoktech SID and it's much lighter and you can get the evic 18350 tubes for it. I'd suggest that if weight is a biggie. Other than that I like my vamo. It's been pretty good, although I think I'm going to have to add an o-ring to keep the pin firing all of my tanks. That's been my only grip so far.

We should call them "Mammals"
I have a 350 and 2 650s. All 3 have nipples and they work wonderfully. I've seen people mention on ECF that they have flat batts that work just fine too though. Apparently the V2 has a better spring than the older ones, so it's not really an issue. I just like the nipple ones since it's "idiot proof" (read: don't accidentally insert backwards). I'm unsure whether the VAMO has reverse polarity protection, but I know some mods can be seriously damaged by this...

The Vamo has built-in protection and won't work with protected batteries. It's designed for safer chemistry batteries.

Technically, you can use protected batteries as long as the discharge rating is above the 5A Vamo armature limit and they're not too long. Most protected batteries are 0.5-1mm longer than unprotected in order to make space for the chip and venting mechanism.

However, the IMR are considered safer chemistry, but I think the double protection from both the Vamo circuitry and the battery chip would offset that and allow the use of ICR.
