I hope I am in the right place. It seems to be a tech. Issue. Anyway....

I have a vamo v2, I believe. I seem to have a issue with what I believe it is called is the battery connecter. It is the part where you screw the carto or tank into.. I looked up some possible issues and says about replacing some kind of O ring. Well in the process of messing with the O ring I broke the connector an the pin seems like it is messed up now. It is able to be pulled out, I did this by mistake when I tried to remove the O ring behind/ under the pin. I would like to fix this if possible. Could I replace the battery connector or what ever that piece is called? Is it able to be removed so I could put another connector or whatever the thing is called in. If so any idea how? I have tried to twist off right by the connector, as it seems like there is some sort of threading on the cover there. I tried to twist as hard as I could, does not even move. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to throw the mod away as I would basically throw 65-70 down the drain. I only used the mod for a few weeks before it stopped firing.

I know that you do not have the same issue as the OP in this thread but, maybe you could extract the info that you need from it? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/375871-vamo-ohm-error-fix.html

If all else fails, you can get a new one from Fasttech for under $30 They are in China so takes a few weeks but, shipping is free.

Good luck to you!

Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I have will stop by to help you.

The main problem seems to be getting the top cap of the V2. My V2s o-ring got messed up last night. Luckily I had a 510 connector I had just put in a DIY ohms reader so I used the o-ring from that.

While searching for a way to remove the cap someone mentioned tightening a hose clip round the cap, obviously put a cloth or something on the cap 1st to protect it. This should give you some more grip to twist/rock the cap off?

It sounds like you broke the wire off of the positive post.
Here is a video on how to disassemble/reassemble the vamo. I have not had to repair mine but as I understand it the process is as follows.
After you get it apart press the positive post out of the 510 connector, then unsolder the wire from the circuit board so you can resolder it to the bottom of the positive post . Then replace the o-ring on the positive post and place the post back in the 510 connector. Resolder the wire back on the circuit board and reassemble your vamo.
