Ok someone may have already stated this but... I just was playing with my brothers new vamo v3 and noticed that you have to get the battery voltage to display release the button then press it again and hold to get rms etc to display. We tried a few times to get it then realized it wouldn't work unless I pressed then pressed again

Vamo's Do have a firmware version.

V3 firmware version can be verified by:
Remove the Battery Cap
Press and Hold the Fire Button
Reinstall the Battery Cap
KSD 2.0 or KSD 3.0 should be displayed on the OLED display

Story is that KSD 3.0 allows switching Mean/RMS (verified on mw Vamo V3) while KSD 2.0 does not (RMS only).
This being true explains why some V3s won't switch Mean/RMS.

Yes my V3 has KSD 3.0 and a can switch between AVG and RMS by hold - button for 10 seconds. I found this out the other night while watching some of Phil's older videos.Mine did come with the setting on MEAN so now i'm having to get used to RMS cause i'm not getting the vapor i was on MEAN with same voltage setting. Not sure yet why,but looking into it.
