I have this problem with my Vamo v-3 and a Kanger Pro tank, when i vape it sounds like I am sucking allot of air,, I get plenty of vapor but that air sucking sound is loud and very annnoying.

Protank is an airy draw in general. You can get some replacement evod coils which will tighten the draw a little. Time to step up to a carto tank. Some people have cut out a little record shape piece of thick stock paper and stuck it between the mod and protank. The reason is on the vamo the post isn't flush with the body, see the gap. If it were flush, which its not supposed to be (DO NOT FILE IT DOWN), it would be a tighter draw.

Yeah use Evod heads to tighten the draw, they work great. I use these at 1.8ohm. Really good price and free shipping

EVOD Coil Unit For eGo MT BCC 1.6ml

Agree. Also agree that's a good price, Agree about the 1.8 coils ( I love the 1.5 ohm coils, thanks for sharing that site)

I just ordered, received and vaped the NEW Kanger/Evod coils ( they are only making one head for both now) They have the long stem of the Kanger with the tighter draw of the Evod..... very nice !

I got lucky and got a free protank from a nice person on nova broadcasting just for being an army veteran. I dont have anything to put it on yet, but ive been reading up on what to do with it. I havent gotten it in the mail yet because she just sent it out yesterday but it looks pretty nice. I dont know if i should get a vamo or itaste svd to put it on. All i have is the halo triton and i know it wont work on that because it says its 808 threads but the protank is 510 right

Well umm i am not that stupid, I can change coil heads, I just have no idea what a EVOD is. I dont spend all my time on this site trying to learn because I was very happy with my usual setup which is a ego twist with a nova tank and a 2.8 ohm coil. I decided to try something different and that will stay charged longer between charges.. So I was looking for advice on fixing the loud air flow with the Kanger Pro tank which I just got and trying to use , it did make the draw tighter with the card stock as suggested above,, So sorry I am not up to date on all the names of stuff and Lingo !!!

Thanks for your Kind reply !!!

When I use my Protank with my Ego Twist it's mostly set on 3.2v and it works fine although there's not much in terms of leeway. However, with the Vamo V3 it seems like the lowest possible settings are a tad high for my Protank coils (3V and 3W). I don't get good flavour, it's bordering on burnt. The ohm meter on the Vamo usually reads my coils as being between 1.8 - 2.5. I'm not sure what the problem is.

You often hear of people talk about being able to change their voltage to get the most out of their juice like it was an option. I was sold on this idea. However, now that's I've bought a Vamo I'm stuck at the lowest settings and even those seems too high. So I'm puzzled and disappointed.

Is this because I'm using a Protank and it requires very little power whereas with say an Igo-L would require more power and would have more leeway volt/watt-wise? Or is there perhaps something wrong with my coils or with my VAMO?

Thanks
