sorry this may be a repost as I think I posted in wrong spot.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/481768-vamo-v3-instructions.html

I didn't see a Vamo or Vamo V3 specific subsection so mods may move if you like.

Mine didn't come with instructions. I've figured out I can press the +- buttons to get into different modes but I haven't been able to find the mode that lists my atomizers resistance. I thought the Vamo V3 was supposed to be able to do that?

Anyone have a link or pdf of instructions for Vamo V3.

BTW it is a lot larger than my ego-c. I took my ego-c to work and public but this thing is a whole another beast. I'm worried what they will think of me now if they see me with this monster.

Press the right top small button (the + button) and HOLD to see ohms.

Press the left top small button (the - button) and HOLD to see battery charge state in volts.

Press + and - together and HOLD to get main menu options:

1. Power Options (then press - or + to toggle between Power [watts] or Voltage settings).
2. LDC Menu OFF/ON (- + toggle off and on)
3. Forget what it is, but use the - + buttons to change the setting... :)

Yeah, like Krazirob says... a fully charged batt is going to read ~4.2v .... then when it gets down to 3.5-3.6v that's a good time to re-charge it. You don't want to fully deplete it, (going below 3.4v is not a great idea, and anything below 3.2v the Vamo won't fire it to keep you from ruining the batt). That's why you get more than one batt so you can have one charging while using the other, etc.

I have 8 batteries now so think I got plenty as long as airline/boat let them pass. I'm going on vacation in Dec (a cruiz with nephew/niece/family) I didn't want to worry about batteries at all for 6 days and was main reason I got the vamo v3 and batteries.

I didn't expect it to be as big as it is. Ego-C fit in my pant pockets pretty well but not sure about this thing.

not really battery percentage but you can hold the - button down and it will tell you how the battery is......for instance it should say 4.2 at a full charge......around 3.6 is when you wanna change your battery out.......
Vamo will quit firing and display "Low V" well before the battery gets to the "you drained it too far and killed the battery" voltage

Get a neck lanyard pouch, yes the Vamo is MUCH larger than an eGo battery, only other VV/VW rig that is comparable in size to the eGo is the iTaste VV V3

I don't know if there is any real difference in function between the versions, but DarthPistachio did a PDF of the Vamo V2 instructions. It must be on the site here some place. At least for the time being it can still be got here => http://www.valleyvapes.com/assets/images/Vamo_Manual.pdf

Grab it while you can though, since Valley Vapes closed. No idea how much longer the site will be up.

The NO1/NO2 option is gone..the V3 is RMS only, other than that...the options are pretty much the same

Thanks!!

Thanks I'll have to print that off and put in the box.

I like RMS mode better! :)

Call me crazy but I can tell the difference. There's a certain added harshness that comes along with PWM. At least according to my ECDMeter it's certainly function differently in the two different modes. Glad to know with V3 forward they stuck with RMS.
