VAMO V5 Automatically Firing

Has anyone experienced their Vamo automatically firing. It reads 9.9 ohms for the coil as soon as you screw on the tank it starts cooking. I've tried everything I can think of, but cannot figure it out.

Is your Vamo the "new-newest" one with the new menu?

I have the previous version 5 Vamo (before the new menu) can't see how it would/could autofire without it actually being broken.

If yours is only a few weeks old and has the new menu, perhaps it has a setting like a Zmax that allows you to attach a connector to allow you to charge a phone or something?

Grasping at straws here.
