Vamo V5 Help

I just ordered a Vamo V5 and i wanted to find out how low i can wrap my coils on it. Please someone help me. i will be using Sony VTC3 batteries. Thank You!

The coils go on the atomizer; example: a kayfun tank.

the vamo is just for the power.

yea i know that but i have heard that i cant go below like 1.5 ohms while using the vamo v5. is that true

I don't own a Vamo. However, being a VV/VW regulated mod I can tell you that you won't be able to fire a coil much lower than 1.2 ohms. The Vamo will have protective circuitry and amp limit which keeps it from firing lower than that.

This is one of the reasons mechanical mod users use mechs to bypass the protective circuitry and amp limits of the circuit boards in regulated mods in order to run sub ohm coils.

You can use coils down to about 1ohm.

If it's to low it just won't fire.

Yep. The Vamo will just refuse to fire and give an error code like "L0" for low ohms.

You can't use a resistance coil that will excede the amp limit of the power device at any given V or W setting.
