vamo v5 stopped turning on

Hey guys I'm having some problems with my vamo all of a sudden.
It was working fine, randomly shut off, and stoped turning on.
Batterys are fully charged, I stretched the spring out to make sure contact was being made, and it was no help.
I'm about ready to buy a new one; i just don't want to wait a month to get one from slowtech until I've exhausted all my options.

With my first Vamo (a V3), one of the small buttons died suddenly.

button or flat top batteries?

I dont own a v5, but with my v3, the board will actually slide up into the body a enough that my flat tops wont make contact with the pin... I use needle nose pliers to gently pull it back down, and it works fine till I drop it again.
