Vamo v5 vs. Segelei zmax v5

Super quick one here folks... Which device is shorter using an 18350 battery? Vamo v5 (current apv) or the zmax v5 (considering)?? Looking to reduce size, but on a budget. Realistically all I've been able to determine is that the difference is negligible and that I'll need to spend some "good" money on something like a Provari mini or a vaporshark...

Was hoping to get more of a specific response to the dimensions of the vamo v5 vs. the segelei zmax v5 (telescoping) using a single 18350. Just a height comparison. My vamo was coming in at something like 108-109mm using the small battery.

I am watching this thread too. The Vamo is a little over 1/4 inch shorter than the SVD heh . I would bet they are close. The Zmax is cool, I considered one but don't care for single button control.

Because of the compact size and lowest profile my VTR has become my carry out device. Plus with the 3100mah 18350 it just keeps vaping, and vaping and.............

Edit: the Vam and the SVD in my avatar are both in the 18350 mode.

I think the Sigelei is a bit shorter than the Vamo in either '350 or '650 mode. And I really wish someone would "mod" a shorter extension ring for Vamos, so it could work in '490/'500 mode.

I had one of the first zmax version but sold it off else I could give you an exact compare. It was a bit smaller than my vamo in each of the modes. The control head part was more or less identical but due to the telescoping you can tighten the zmax really down on the battery.

Seems the Zmax v5 is considerably shorter vs the Vamo, although I use mine in 18360 I just popped an 18350 in to get a measurement. Nowadays I use Sentinel M16 18350 with kayfun 5 1/2", and a Stingray 18350 with kayfun 5 1/4 "

based on the numbers I see on fasttech, the zmax5 would be a whole inch shorter than the vamo5.

my own zmax-2?-3? is about half inch shorter than my vamo3

Awesome! Thanks for the measurements guys. I do prefer the three-button layout on the vamo, and mine is still in great working order, other than the gun-metal finish. Still on the fence about spending the money to reduce the size. Thanks everyone for the feedback.
