I had two Vamo's.

One made of Stainless Steel. One made of Brass (gunmetal) The gunmetal is holding up fine, but my SS decided to stop. It died over a period of time. Started to loose power..On a fresh BAtt, cranked all the way up to 6 volts, barley put out any vapor. Had to return it.

If anyone has a Vamo that works great, after several months, please post where ya got it. (and if its SS, Chrome, or Gunmetal) If anyone has a Vamo that's crap, please post where ya got it. (and if its SS, Chrome, or Gunmetal)

Too many manufactures are making these things, and its impossible to tell which is which.

I know some are good, and some aren't.

MUCH THANX !!

i think the beefier spring is the latest revision. i'd call it revision 2.5, but some people on the forum are calling it rev. 3. but its basically the same version as version 2, with metal buttons, but with a beefier spring to prevent incompatibility with flat top batteries which cause them to rattle inside

The wife's and mine (Chrome and Gun Metal) are running fine after 2+ months. Received them from Vapor Break for $26.99 each. Mine has been beaten up a bit, dropped, kicked, dumped.. Cracked the outer screen but still a champ! Had to beef up the springs to the newer type and using 3100mAh batteries..
It's my primary, wife using it now as a secondary to her eVic.

I got my chrome V2 (SS?) from a chinese supplier (OceanVapor.com) and Ive had it for almost 4 months now. Its the latest revision with metal buttons and the beefy hot spring (no rattle whatsoever). I bought the entire kit (batteries, charger, 2 Vivi Novas, and needle drip bottle) for $60 including shipping. It was a steal considering the body itself usually goes for about $50 on its own before shipping.
